Building Confidence and Workplace Readiness

At Leverage Leadership, we believe true readiness for the workplace extends beyond technical ability. It’s about cultivating confidence, emotional intelligence, and adaptability.

Through our partnership with NielsenIQ, learners like Krielle Carmen Jabbar are discovering what it means to grow both professionally and personally through our Workplace Readiness Programme.

“The balance between structure and flexibility has been so valuable. I’m learning at my own pace while still receiving support whenever I need it.”
- Krielle Carmen Jabbar

Krielle’s Learning Journey

For Krielle, taking part in the Workplace Readiness Programme – a Business Administration NQF Level 4 Qualification (SAQA 61595, 140 credits) – has been a powerful step towards building her career.

This course, run in partnership with NielsenIQ, provides unemployed youth with vital workplace exposure, mentorship, and business administration skills. In addition to the core qualification, Leverage Leadership includes emotional readiness and digital literacy modules. This ensures learners are equipped for every dimension of modern professional life.

Although Krielle will complete her qualification in June 2026, her reflections already show the programme’s impact in developing confidence, capability, and purpose.

About the NielsenIQ Workplace Readiness Partnership

At NielsenIQ, preparing young talent for the workplace goes beyond technical skills. It’s about developing confidence, professionalism, and adaptability to thrive in today’s evolving business environment.

That’s why NielsenIQ partnered with Leverage Leadership to deliver the Business Administration NQF 4 as a Workplace Readiness Programme.

This programme was specifically designed for unemployed learners on 12-month contracts, blending workplace integration with personal and professional growth.

Because newer QCTO qualifications often extend beyond traditional learnership timeframes due to external assessment requirements, the Business Administration NQF 4 was the perfect fit as it offers flexibility, relevance, and foundational career-building skills.

Through initiatives like this, Leverage Leadership and NielsenIQ are helping South Africa’s youth move beyond unemployment by equipping them with the skills, mindset, and emotional resilience to become the workplace leaders of tomorrow.
